چکیده

Assessing the impact of land use and climate change on streamflow is important for watershed management. This study aims to examine possible impacts Jewaha catchment. The Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model used simulate by integrating complex interactions between use/cover. past land-use changes were determined classifying Landsat images from 1990, 2000, 2018 with Earth Resource Development System (ERDAS) Imagine 2015. potential was examined under Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 2.6 RCP 8.5 emission scenarios 2041–2070 time horizon baseline 1971–2000. Climate over catchment indicated an increasing trend in temperature, both 8.5, variability rainfall patterns average annual temperature will increase 0.1 °C 0.15 scenarios, respectively. Generally, result that future summer highly increases due a decrease dry season because variables.

Assessment of climate and land use change impacts with SWAT

The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) is a deterministic continuous-time semi-distributed hydrological model for application at the river basin scale. The model was developed by the USDA Agricultural Research Service in the early 1990s based on Simulator for Water Resources in Rural Basins (SWRRB) and including routing procedures from Routing Outputs To Outlet (ROTO) tool (Arnold et al. 199...

Impacts of Climate and Land Use/Cover Change on Streamflow Using SWAT and a Separation Method for the Xiying River Basin in Northwestern China

A better understanding of the effects of climate change and land use/cover change (LUCC) on streamflow promotes the long-term water planning and management in the arid regions of northwestern China. In this paper, the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) and a separation approach were used to evaluate and separate the effects of climate change and LUCC on streamflow in the Xiying River basin. ...

Investigation of climate change impacts on streamflow regime of a river Arazkooseh River Basin

In this research, impacts of climate change on the streamflow hydrological status of the Arazkooseh River are discussed. After Calibration and validation of the LARS-WG, HadCM3 was downscaled under A2 Scenario in three climatology station. Beside, calibration and validation of the SWAT model were done by observed data relative to past period of times. Streamflow values are then predicted using ...

Prediction of Land Use Change and its Hydrological Effects Using Markov Chain Model and SWAT Model

Access to current and future water resources is one of the concerned problems for managers and policymakers around the world. Because of the communication between water resources and land use, these two topics had come together in different researches. Scenarios designed in regional land planning provide the basis for analyzing the existing opportunities and making the right decisions for manag...
